Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is currently a sportscaster for ESPN who is also anchor for SportsCenter as well as hosting SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been bilingual since the age nine years old, a valuable ability that allowed her to secure her first position as a production associate at Univision in Miami where she had an opportunity to work with producers of national programming such as Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. She was hired as a reporter for an affiliate of the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. She worked as a journalist on KNVO TV 48 Univision in Rio Grande Valley Texas. Antonietta was at the end of her senior year in high school However, she was certain of her professional goals. She went to Mount Union University to see if it was a good fit for her. She discovered that she liked the campus as well as the fact that it offered the program she desired. When she finished her high-school studies, she entered the University to pursue media studies. Her instructor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM, and was member of her class, built a relationship that lasted for a lifetime with the student. The professor who taught her Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm in journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
