Ward was born the 15th of April 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. Ward was a student at Ouachita Parish High School to complete her secondary schooling. After that, she attended River Oaks High School the season following her senior year. She briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward quit school at thirteen and relocated in New York so that she could begin modeling. A few years afterward she decided to try acting. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited character in 1970's soap opera All My Children, and then was cast as an teen drama for NBC Prime Time Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin in Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, she started her film career in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character from the erotic horror thriller The In Crowd. It wasn't a major hit in the theaters, but did well in the home and on cable. Ward was a supporting character for the role of Shallow Hal the following year. Alongside her direct-to-DVD parts, she also appeared in several guest appearances on TV programs like Friends. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of one of the gymnas in on the ABC Family Drama series Make It or Break It which was part of the main cast for the series' first two seasons. In her personal life she got married to the producer David C. Robinson and had a son named Cameron and David.

Sandra Lee has achieved great fame in social media through her pimple popping and blackhead removal videos. Dr. Pimple popping has been a popular name for her social media accounts, including You Tube Instagram Facebook. The TLC television series Dr. Pimple Popper has been featured for all of the seasons. Apart from that she has launched her own range of skin care products, and also created a delightful illustrated manual for skincare.
